  6.           Purpose:  Displays all (or selected) directory entries
  7.                     in double columns, sorted in alphabetical
  8.                     order.
  9.  
  10.           Format:   DDIR [d:][path][filename[.ext]]
  11.  
  12.           Remarks:  If no parameters are specified, DDIR will
  13.                     list all files in the current directory.  Use
  14.                     of the global characters ? and * in the
  15.                     filename and extension parameters is
  16.                     supported.

  18.                     If more than one screenful (50 entries) is
  19.                     required, the display pauses at the bottom,
  20.                     showing the message, "Press any key to
  21.                     continue."

  23.                     Notes:

  25.                     1.   Because DDIR.COM loads a secondary
  26.                          command processor, it will not operate
  27.                          under the Run option of WordStar and
  28.                          possibly with some other programs that
  29.                          normally allow calling up external
  30.                          programs.  For the same reason, it
  31.                          cannot be automatically reinvoked using
  32.                          the F3 key when at the DOS command
  33.                          level.
